1. Introduction

By making a reservation through our website, bluemorphohouse.com, the guest agrees to the following booking terms and conditions. We recommend reading them carefully before confirming a reservation.

2. Booking Process

Reservations may be made through our website, email, phone call, or WhatsApp.

A reservation will be considered confirmed once the guest receives a confirmation email from Blue Morpho House.

3. Payment Policy

The guest must make an initial payment of 50% of the total reservation amount. The remaining 50% must be paid upon check-in.

4. Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to five (5) days before the scheduled arrival date.

If a cancellation is made within five (5) days of the check-in date, 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged.

5. No-Show Policy

If a guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior cancellation, 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged.

6. Reservation Modifications

Requests to modify reservation dates, number of guests, or room type are subject to availability and may result in changes to the original rate.

7. Guest Responsibility

Guests agree to:

• Take proper care of the hostel facilities.
• Respect the hostel’s internal rules and standards of conduct.
• Be responsible for any damage or loss caused during their stay.
  

8. Force Majeure Policy

Blue Morpho House shall not be held responsible for cancellations or modifications resulting from force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, road closures, strikes, or government actions.

Under such circumstances, the hostel may offer a rescheduling of the reservation at no additional cost, subject to availability.

9. Personal Data Protection

Blue Morpho House guarantees the confidentiality of the information provided by its guests and will comply with Costa Rica’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 8968.

Personal information collected will be used solely for the management and administration of the reservation.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica.

Any dispute arising from the interpretation or application of these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Costa Rica.
